Project Details
Washington, DC’s Columbia Heights neighborhood has become a vibrant mix of old and new. This 14-unit, 15,500 SF condominium building sits on a hillside overlooking the heart of the District. The footprint of the building is the result of the unusual shape of the site and a strategy to maximize the amount of windows in the residential units. The inner entrance and rear courts provide a public/private area for every unit. Glass, metal curtain wall panels, and brick comprise the facade materials which express the building in a contemporary way yet remain respectful to façade materials used throughout the neighborhood in earlier eras. Each unit offers open floor plans with 10-foot high ceilings.
